Dear Members

The closing date for Committee of Management nominations is Friday April 19th 2013.

The standard term for a Committee of Management member is two years, beginning in June.

Each year half of the current committee stand down, providing six vacancies.

Mr John Riley, long standing and valued committee member has recently resigned from the committee. John’s valuable input and knowledge will be missed and on behalf of the committee and members, I sincerely thank John for his many years of service to the Society and its members.

John’s resignation means that as well as the six vacancies, there is also a ‘CASUAL VACANCY’ available which will end in June 2014.

Therefore, there are seven vacancies on the committee –

Six two year terms and one casual vacancy for one year.

I encourage members to consider nominating for the Committee of Management.

WELL DONE SUELLEN....

On behalf of all members and the committee, I would like to congratulate Mrs Suellen Deane on her recent award from the WPCS UK. Suellen has been awarded the great honor of an Honorary Life Vice Presidency of the WPCS UK in recognition of her contributions to the WPCS Australia and the Welsh Breeds. Suellen is a founding member, Past Chairperson, Past President and Honorary Life Member of our Society and it is wonderful to see her contributions recognised.
